Overview of the role:

• The primary focus of the role will be to support the company in achieving the monthly and annual objectives through logistics support. This role is responsible in making sure that all required logistics assignments are done efficiently.

What you will do:  

• To efficiently deliver parts to its respective locations in a timely manner.
• To deposit daily cash collections of parts branches to the bank.
• Assisting in the logistics assignments such as collection/delivery of cheques, official mails, and other work-related documents.
• Maintaining the office vehicle in terms of vehicle service, Salik usage, petrol, and mileage.

Job Description

Loading / Offloading of Goods

Load the vehicle respectively in accordance with the route plan

Loading & offloading of goods for delivery

Delivery of Goods

Ensure invoices are entered by the data entry operator in the tracking register before delivering the orders

Ensure customer deliveries are made as per journey plan in a timely manner

Ensure the goods are not damaged while delivery

Goods receipt by customers

Checking the goods at the customer premises to ensure accuracy of delivery

Ensure the goods are checked and the invoice is signed and stamped by the customer

Collect the cash/cheque as mentioned in the invoice and Submit the POD “proof of delivery” to the team leader

Receiving the return goods

Collect the returned goods from customers as instructed

Ensure the returned goods are as per the GRV “goods return voucher”

Maintenance of duty and vehicle

Maintain the delivery monitoring chart provided by the team leader on daily basis

Keep the vehicle in clean condition and ensure timely servicing of the vehicles

Qualifications

Higher Secondary School

Additional Information

Valid UAE license

Good knowledge of UAE locations

2-3 years of experience as a delivery driver
