About The Role
Provide safe transportation to GEMS Staff and guest
Job Scope
The job holder works within budget guidelines and company procedures.
Internal & External Interactions
Employees of the school and corporate offices.
Key Accountabilities
Embrace and encourage the ethos and standards of excellence as defined in the GEMS Core Values.
Operate the school car in a safe and efficient way abiding with all laws, policies and procedures.
Follow routes assigned.
Ensure staff are aware of rules and responsibilities as passengers.
Manage and complete various forms and records, including updated route sheets, time sheets, incident and accident reports, etc.
Perform daily safety and maintenance checks, in addition will perform minor maintenance duties such as changing the oil.
Advise management of any requirements for maintenance or repairs.Supervise the cleaning of the car .
Ensures the GEMS policies, procedures, and codes of conduct are followed at all times.Initiates effort and energy beyond the typical work day, where the tasks require additional commitment.
Attends staff meetings and serve on committees as required.
Performs other duties as requested by direct & dotted reporting line managers / supervisors
Qualifications / knowledge:
UAE Driver license.Criminal record check will be required.
Excellent Driving record.
Skills:
Ability to relate to school system personnel.
